POSITION: In any leg entanglement that their training partner chooses OBJECTIVE: Be playful, play deep CONSTRAINTS: Handicap yourself as much as possible and give your training partner a real opportunity to catch submissions WIN CONDITION: None

ATTACKER:

POSITION: Standing in front of guard player letting them get whatever guard they want OBJECTIVES: Maintain control of the hip, maintain control of their knee, expose their heel CONSTRAINTS: You have to hold any submission for 2 seconds before attempting to finish WIN CONDITION: Get a submission

Make sure to communicate to students that

1: leg locks often don’t cause pain and make sure that you tap when someone has something

2: don’t be crazy jackasses. One person is trying to play as deep as possible, they should lose some. If they don’t lose, they’re not playing deep enough. If you’re attacking, don’t take advantage of them handicapping themselves as an opportunity to stroke your ego
